Con comentarios de Marià Corbí (*) La esencia del camino es el desapego. Y el objetivo de aquellos que practican es liberarse de las apariencias. Se dice en los sutras: ‘el desapego es iluminación porque niega las apariencias’. La budeidad significa conciencia. La esencia del camino es el desapego. No ligarse a realidad alguna es la esencia del camino. El desapego equivale a no ligarse a lo que parecen ser las cosas. Por eso los sutras dicen que el desapego es iluminación, porque niega las apariencias, niega lo que parecen ser las cosas, lo que creemos que son. Una cosa es lo que parece ser el mundo de las cosas para nosotros, vivientes necesitados, y otra es lo que ahí es. La iluminación es comprender que lo que hay no es el mundo de cosas que a nosotros nos parece ser. La budeidad significa lucidez de conciencia. Aquellos cuyas mentes…

Reflexiones con motivo del quinto centenario del nacimiento de Teresa de Jesús (publicadas en un blog de Carmelitas Descalzos: castellinterior.wordpress.com). Me rondaba por la cabeza dedicar estas líneas al papel de Teresa de Jesús como maestra de la experiencia del Absoluto, maestra de aquel silencio personal que ofrece la posibilidad de descubrir el fondo de eternidad que nos habita, esa fuente de la propia existencia "que por comodidad podemos llamar Dios" (escribía Etty Hillesum en su Diario): el palacio del Rey -en expresión de santa Teresa-. Y mientras estaba preparando el material, me llegó un enlace a un artículo Me rondaba por la cabeza dedicar estas líneas al papel de Teresa de Jesús como maestra de la experiencia del Absoluto, maestra de aquel silencio personal que ofrece la posibilidad de descubrir el fondo de eternidad que nos habita, esa fuente de la propia existencia "que por comodidad podemos llamar Dios"…
